These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and participation in Dicta Hub programmes, services, and website. By enrolling at Dicta Hub or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction
Dicta Hub ("we," "our," "the Academy") operates as a technology training institution offering AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and related programmes. These Terms apply to all students, applicants, and users of our website and services.
2. Definitions
- "Student" refers to anyone enrolled in a Dicta Hub programme.
- "Programme" refers to any course, module, or training offered.
- "Session" refers to the Morning Session (9 AM–12 PM) or Afternoon Session (2 PM–5 PM).
- "Fees" refers to tuition payments made for enrolment.
- "Intake" refers to a specific academic start period.
- "Capstone Project" refers to the final project completed toward the end of the programme.
- "Website" refers to www.dictahub.com and all related pages.
3. Admissions & Enrollment
- Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Applicants must select their preferred class schedule (Morning or Afternoon).
- If a chosen schedule is full, the Applicants may select the remaining available schedule or Choose to re-enrol in the next batch when admissions reopen.
- Once both schedules are full, admission for that intake closes.
- Dicta Hub reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion.
4. Payment & Fees
- Payment confirms your seat. No seat is held without completed payment.
- The full programme fee is ₦1,000,000.
- A minimum of 50% must be paid before student dashboard access is granted.
- Further payments may be made during the programme timeline until the full fee is completed.
- Final exams remain locked until 100% of the programme fee has been paid.
- Late or incomplete payments may result in loss of the selected schedule or denial of enrollment.
- Fees are non-transferable to another person or future intake.
Refund Policy
- Refund requests are reviewed under the active Dicta Hub refund policy window after confirmed payment.
- Once the configured refund window has expired, refund requests will be denied.
- Refund approval remains subject to administrative review and any applicable administrative charges.
- Dicta Hub is not responsible for failed payments or payment delays caused by banks or third-party platforms.
5. Class Schedule & Attendance
- Students must attend the session (Morning or Afternoon) they selected during enrollment.
- Dicta Hub may adjust class times, schedules, or academic calendar when necessary.
- Schedule adjustments do not entitle students to refunds or free deferrals.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is required for assessments and certification.
- Students who arrive later than scheduled class time may miss critical portions of practical work.
6. Academic Structure & Modules
Dicta Hub delivers one continuous professional programme with staged learning blocks:
- Foundation Block: Python for Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision
- Advanced Block: AI Automation, LLMs, and AI Deployment
- Capstone Block: Final project and completion review
Dicta Hub reserves the right to update module content, adjust teaching methods, or modify academic requirements to enhance student learning.
7. Use of Facilities & Equipment
- Each student is assigned a dedicated computer during class.
- Students must not install unauthorized software, alter system settings, or misuse equipment.
- Eating or drinking near computers is strictly prohibited.
- Students will be held financially responsible for any damage to equipment done by the students.
- Dicta Hub's assessment of equipment damage and repair cost is final.
8. Learning Materials & Intellectual Property
- All course materials, slides, code templates, videos, and resources remain the intellectual property of Dicta Hub.
- Students must not copy, reproduce, resell, or distribute these materials.
- Dicta Hub may use anonymized student projects, screenshots, or testimonials for promotional purposes.
9. Code of Conduct
Students must:
- Behave respectfully toward instructors and fellow students
- Avoid disruptive behaviour
- Follow classroom rules and instructor instructions
- Maintain professional conduct during all sessions
- Not smoke or drink alcohol on Dicta hub premises.
Dicta Hub reserves the right to suspend or expel any student who violates the Code of Conduct or engages in harassment, abuse, or misconduct.
10. Certification Requirements
Assessment standards may be updated at any time to maintain academic integrity.
To receive a Dicta Hub certificate, the student must:
- Complete module assessments and mini-projects
- Maintain required attendance
- Complete and submit the Capstone Project
- Meet academic standards as outlined by instructors
Dicta Hub will withhold certification for failure to meet requirements.
11. Technical Requirements
- Students should have a functional laptop for home practice or use Dicta Hub's weekend practice sessions.
- Students are responsible for backing up their work and project files.
- Some modules may require internet access outside of class.
12. Withdrawal & Termination
A student may withdraw from the programme at any time; however, all withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the school administration.
Withdrawal by Student
If a student chooses to withdraw from the programme on their own, no refund will be issued, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or how early/late the withdrawal occurs.
Termination by Dicta Hub
Dicta Hub may terminate a student's enrollment if:
- Fees are not paid
- Policies are violated
- Misconduct occurs
- Academic requirements are not met
- The student disrupts the learning environment
- The student repeatedly fails to follow instructor or administrative instructions
No refund will be issued for terminations resulting from policy violations or misconduct.
13. Limitation of Liability
- Dicta Hub is not responsible for personal property lost or damaged on premises.
- Dicta Hub does not guarantee job placement or employment after training.
- Students participate at their own risk and are responsible for their learning outcomes.
- Dicta Hub is not liable for interruptions caused by power failures, internet issues, or unforeseen events.
- Dicta Hub is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or incidents occurring on or off premises, nor for disruptions caused by government actions, strikes, or public unrest.
14. Privacy & Data Protection
Dicta Hub collects personal data for admission and administration purposes only. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties unless required for school operations or legal compliance.
By enrolling, students consent to receiving communication via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Our website uses strictly necessary cookies for security, authentication, and core functionality. Optional preference, analytics, and marketing cookies are enabled only when you expressly opt in through our cookie banner, and you may withdraw or update that consent at any time through Cookie Settings.
For visitors covered by GDPR or CCPA, Dicta Hub honors consent choices before using non-essential cookies and does not sell personal information collected through the website.
15. Changes to Terms
Dicta Hub may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the website, and continued participation indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
All disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before any legal action, parties must first attempt mediation or alternative dispute resolution.
17. Agreement
By enrolling at Dicta Hub or accessing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
